http://blog.blogadda.com/2013/12/17/tangy-tuesday-picks-december-17-2013-creative-posts-by-indian-bloggers
I wrote this poem long back, and I love it. I would like to dedicate this poem to all mothers, would-be mothers, those who recently became one and to their lovely daughters. Most importantly this poem is dedicated to the wonderful and unmatched relationship a mother and a daughter share with each other...

Special Dedication to My Mom and my late Nani (grandma)! As my mom says that our relationship is so much like she shared with her mom. And every mother goes through similar fears and dreams for her daughter irrespective of the era she is living in. Needless to say that I love mine a lot. Here is the write up:

  1. Excellent. That is what happens in a clock, after a frequency it comes back to a position...

  4. Read your poem . As usual its very well written . your choice of words and how you string them together is awesome . Few months back My younger brother was blessed with a baby girl . i have him and his wife from close quarter in this time . How parenthood empact them , how it make them relaize the feeling they never know they were capable of , how it make them vulnerable and how it bring them closer to our own parents . its surreal to see this in my brother . you captured that surrealist feeling very nicely

    1. And that's why i love the feedback from you. It makes my efforts worthwhile when you connect these write ups with the world around you. Indeed parenthood brings us closer to our parents. We see how much efforts and love our parents poured in raising us. Thank you so much for appreciation. :)

  7. One song that comes to mind talking about mother daughter relationships is "Charkha chalati maa" from movie pinjar. But we're not telling any sob stories here are we?
Beautiful sunshiny poem. I think everyone can relate with nostalgic anecdotes of yesterday and a hopeful dreams of tomorrow presented here. This strikes a very special chord with me!
